I was surprised when we got a text while checking in. Mike was the person and delivered the cart. I always had to make arrangements with other cart rental companies to pick it up myself – this was a great benefit. The cart was in great condition. Mike gave instructions on usage, seat belts for kids, charging, etc.
We had a flat tire and he was there in minutes to fix. So different from a call to Roadside Assistance. I got to chat with Mike and learn about his family business. Great story and I like that it’s family and American owned. I highly recommend this cart rental company!

Renting a golf cart for our stay on Sullivans Island was a game changer. We only stayed for 3 nights but Saltwater Rides was able to accommodate us (while other places wouldn’t rent for less than 5 nights). The owner of Saltwater Rides was fantastic! He was friendly, responsive, and patient with my questions. He got us set up so the cart was charged and waiting for us when we arrived and he took care of picking it up after we left. The cart itself was great. We were able to explore both Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms easily. There’s plenty of golf cart parking all over the island and it was a huge help at beach access. Thanks to the cart, we were able to gather all of our beach gear and outrun the storm. Saltwater Rides gave us everything we needed to get set up and their price was competitive. We’ll hit them up again when we return!
