How do I rent an LSV?

What is the difference between an LSV and golf cart?

Our LSVs are street legal golf carts that have safety features allowing for use on all roads 35 MPH or less. LSVs are registered and tagged by the SCDMV.

Are Saltwater Rides’ LSVs electric?

Yes, all of our street legal golf carts are electric.

How are the LSVs charged?

Saltwater Rides LSVs come with a charging cord that plugs into a standard outlet.

How many miles can I drive on a full charge?

Approximately 20 miles.

Do I pick up and return my rental?

All rentals have complimentary delivery to and pick up from your rental property, residence, or business.

Can I rent an LSV for the hour or for a day trip?

Our golf carts have a two night minimum. They are rented similarly to hotels. The price is based on a nightly rental. Your golf cart will be delivered to the rental property between 12-2 pm on the first day of rental. The cart will be picked up between 8-10 am on the last day of rental.

Is there a multi-cart rental discount?

Yes, 10% discount on the total rental.

How old do I need to be to rent from Saltwater Rides?

Twenty-five years old is the minimum age requirement to rent from Saltwater Rides 11. How old do I need to be to drive a Saltwater Rides LSV? Twenty-one years old is the minimum age requirement to drive our LSVs.

Do I need a driver's license to rent and drive the LSV?

Yes, to rent and drive the LSV, one must have a valid driver’s License and Insurance.
